Forget the London Eye. Make the climb up 500 plus steps for a wonderful view of the area. Exercise plus history = FTW. Unfortunately no photography in this amazing Cathedral.

It's worth the 16 pounds to climb to the top. But the first sign.. 257 steps.. Is not to the top.. Just to the first level. Be prepared for a hike to make it all the way up.

As in the previous film, the spiral stairs in the South-West tower are used in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) as the pupils leave Prof. Moody's class.

A beautiful cathedral only second in size to St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City. A walk to the top of the dome is not for someone with a fear of heights but amazing once you are up there.

Seat of the Anglican Bishop of London. Definitely worth a tour. Resting place of many famous historical figures. Take the 259 steps to the Whispering Gallery or the 528 to the top for the views.

Well worth a visit and the view from the top is amazing. You may find it hard to see where you get up to the dome but its on the right just after you come in the front doors.
